Corendon has participated in the Runatolia Maraton, held this year for the 12th time and collected donations for TEGV (Foundation Turkish Education Volunteers) in the framework of the project “Have you ever seen a racing glow-worm?”
The Runatolia Marathon, held for the first time in 2006, uniting professional as well as amateur sporters and promoting sports and a healthy life style, was organized for the 12th time this year. Several well known teams participated in this event held in Antalya. Team Corendon was established to participate on behalf of Corendon Tourism Group. It ran the 10 km race and collected donations for TEGV in the framework of the project “Have you ever seen a racing glow-worm?” Among the XXX company teams participating in the race in the framework of the “Step by step” platform, Team Corendon collected a lot of donations and it became the fourth most successful team.
Yıldıray Karaer, Chairman of the Board of Corendon Tourism Group emphasized the importance of social projects and expressed his “congratulations to all Team Corendon-members, who committed themselves to TEGV during this 12th Runatolia Marathon and thanks for supporting education.”
Cihan Asrak, sponsored by Corendon, finished second
Cihan Asrak, since the season’s first race, the Duatlon of Marmaris, sponsored by Corendon finished second among the hunderds of participants from all corners of Turkey.
